Local artist to appear at Stokes Gallery

FALLBROOK — Local Fallbrook artist, Susan Emily Brown, will be hosting an inaugural viewing of her long-awaited two- and three-dimensional artwork, which spans over the last decade years of her artistic career.

Miss Brown was a student of Fallbrook resident Carilyn Vice during her childhood and was inspired initially by her instructor at Earl Warren Junior High School, Encinitas resident Carolyn Ames. Susan further continued her artistic development with well-known popular instructor and artist David Newcomb at San Dieguito Academy.

This viewing will be hosted by lifelong family friend and well-known local artist Brett Stokes at the Brett Stokes Studio/Gallery, located at 732 W. Elder Street in Fallbrook, on Saturday, May 6, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Susan Brown is the daughter of longtime Fallbrook resident Victoria Barnes and J. Steven Brown. For more information call Susan at (760) 994-5593.
