SAN BERNARDINO-Riverside COUNTY VALLEYS-THE INLAND EMPIRE- The National Weather Service In San Diego has issued a wind advisory which is in effect until 8 pm this evening.

The low pressure system near the southeast corner of California this morning and moving south towards the gulf of California will create gusty north to northeast winds across the mountain ridges and through and below aligned canyons and passes today. Winds should diminish this evening as the low moves further south.

* winds...north to northeast 15 to 20 mph with gusts 35 mph.

* timing...11 am this morning through 8 pm this evening.

* location...below passes and canyons along the front of the San Bernardino And San Jacinto Mountains.

* impacts...motorists operating high profile vehicles will encounter difficult driving conditions.

* outlook...wind gusts diminishing to less than 35 mph this evening.

* reports...at 8 am Cal State University at San Bernardino wind east northeast 25 mph gusting 29 mph.
