Greek Festival in Temecula Oct. 6 to 7

TEMECULA – Those interested in learning more about the Greek culture are welcome to join in the fun at the Temecula Greek Festival, which will take place in the heart of Old Town Temecula at The Civic Center, 41000 Main St., on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The event will include a variety of authentic Greek food including lamb, gyros, saganaki, and feta fries. Visitors can enjoy homemade pastries, Greek coffee, and mezethes (appetizers). An Athenian Wine Garden will allow tasting of Greek wines, beer and ouzo.

A kid’s zone will have a variety of games to play with a chance to win prizes from a redemption booth.

Live music will be provided by The Olympians. Dance lessons will be offered to those interested in learning! In addition, award winning dance groups from San Diego will also perform.

Admission and parking is free for the event. Raffle tickets will be available at the door for chances to win exciting prizes.

The event is a fundraiser sponsored by St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
