Lamborghini driver doing over 100 mph sustains major injuries when car hits median, is cut in half and catches on fire

The California Highway Patrol has reported that a driver of a Lamborghini, who was possibly driving under the influence, sustained major injuries last night when he was traveling at a speed of 100 miles per hour and struck the center median on Interstate 15, just north of Mission Road in Fallbrook.

"After colliding into the center median, the vehicle was cut in half and caught on fire," said Officer Jim Bettencourt of the CHP.

The accident took place Saturday evening, October 6 at approximately 11:19 p.m.
