Car club revs up for Christmas Parade

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Vintage Car Club members will again provide many entries in this year’s 31st annual Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce.

Entries will include early model “tin Lizzie’s” to newer, sleek-looking convertibles. The parade allows a venue to showcase club members’ pride and joy vehicles which in many cases will carry officials of federal, state, and county government as well as other local dignitaries.

The Christmas Parade is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 1, beginning at 5 p.m. It is expected to draw residents, family, and friends from Fallbrook and surrounding communities.

The parade route begins at South Main Avenue and Ammunition Road and proceeds northbound on Main to Ivy Street. Musical entries, animals, and more are a regular tradition in this hometown parade.

For information on entering the parade, call the Chamber of Commerce at (760) 728-5845. To learn more about the car club, visit http://www.fallbrookvintagecarclub.org.
