Thank you from the FLC

During this season of thanksgiving, I would like to take time to thank the County of San Diego for once again sponsoring the Fallbrook Land Conservancy’s annual fall fundraiser, Stagecoach Sunday.

The event raised nearly half of the $50,000 needed to meet our fourth quarter fundraising goal, so we are off to a great start.

I am especially grateful to our in-kind donors and those members of our community whose generous contributions helped make our event a success: Kent Borsch (Edward Jones Investments); Del Rey Avocado Company; Wicker and Megan Gamble; Renee Ingold; Vince Ross; and Neil and Bonnie Wolfe.

I am also thankful for the tireless dedication of our volunteers; donations by our local business and restaurant owners, artists and craftspeople; the hard-working volunteer sheriffs; the talented staff at the Village News; and for the contributions of many other groups and individuals too numerous to list here.

As a nonprofit organization, the FLC relies on the loyalty and commitment of our supporters – even more so during this challenging economic environment.

Next year, we hope to continue our work of enhancing the quality of life in our community. The total acreage of prime open space now protected by FLC ownership or conservation easement is 2,688 acres, with our primary goal to beautify and maintain our hiking trails, preserves and other public places.

To learn more, or to make donation, please feel free to stop by our office at the Palomares House, give us a call at (760) 728-0889 or visit http://www.fallbrooklandconservancy.org.

Stagecoach Sunday Co-Chair
