Workshop on Gold Spotted Oak Borer set for Dec. 4

FALLBROOK – A Gold Spotted Oak Borer workshop is being offered at Live Oak Park on Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to noon. The informative and educational presentation on recognizing and preventing infestation of local oak trees is being put on by top notch presenters from around the state.

It is free and open to the general public but registration is required. To register, visit http://www.gsob.org. Refreshments and handout materials will be provided.

The workshop is sponsored by Roger Boddaert, University of California Extension Service, San Diego Park & Recreation Department, the U.S Forest Service and the San Diego Agriculture Department. Live Oak Park is located at 2746 Reche Road.
