Youth soccer given head start by car club

FALLBROOK – To help support the growing needs of the Fallbrook Bonsall Youth Soccer League, the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club recently made a donation to get their new soccer season off to a good start. Founded in 1976 by John Buehman with the help of Al Povey and Jim Olexa, the League has grown tremendously over the ensuing years.

Today, the Fallbrook Bonsall Youth Soccer League serves over 60 recreational teams and 11 or more competitive teams with over 650 players. The League is now affiliated CAL Youth Soccer Assoc-South, the US Soccer Federation and the US Youth Soccer Association.

The Car Club’s donation will go towards funding the needs of those individuals that would not otherwise be able to enjoy playing the sport in a team environment. The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club has donated to local non-profit organizations for over 40 years and is proud to support the community.
