Historical society offers an Old-Fashioned Christmas

Boy Scout Tyler Russell ties yarn on an ornament for one of the participants at the coloring table at the Barn. Scouts from Troop 755 assisted the historical society by supervising the arts and crafts part of the open house.

The train display, which includes replicas of 12 Fallbrook buildings from 1882 to the early 1900s, was decorated for the holidays.

This old-fashioned Christmas tree sits in the parlor of the historic Pittenger House. Built in 1895, the home was one of the stops on the self-guided tour during the Fallbrook Historical Society

Historical society president Jack Story lets his musical Santa entertain visitors to the Ford Room, next door to the Rock & Mineral Museum. Story left his saxophone in his car but brought in the Santa which dances while playing music.
