“Scrooge The Musical” is now playing at Fallbrook’s Mission Theater. It was adapted by Leslie Bricusse, from the classic Charles Dickens novel, “A Christmas Carol.”

The star character is Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser living in Victorian England. In part of the story, the stingy and bitter Scrooge receives visits from various ghosts, who are major focal points in this specific performance.

The phrase “Bah, Humbug!” was the famous remark that Ebenezer Scrooge used to describe his views regarding Christmas, before ultimately changing his mind, not only about the holiday it...
