Family touched by community's support

Volunteers wash cars on January 10 at a fundraising event held at the corner of South Mission and Ammunition Roads to help the family of Martin Campos with his funeral costs. Volunteers included friends, fellow athletes, community members, and family.

The family of Martin Campos was greatly humbled by the outpouring of support shown to them in the aftermath of the 15-year-old athlete’s death. The generosity of the donations made at a fundraising car wash event held January 10 fully covered the boy’s funeral costs and greatly touched them, they said.
