Cross training classes yield results at Club Paradise

FALLBROOK – The cross training classes now being held five days a week at Club Paradise gym in Fallbrook are yielding good results, and much of that success is being attributed to Renato Felippa. Felippa, 22, a former Argentinean professional soccer player and Level 1 Certified Crossfit Trainer, is leading the sessions.

Local residents have experienced success with their weight loss goals and physical improvement with Felippa’s assistance.

“One of his students, a 40-year-old female, lost 10 pounds and three jean sizes in just three months,” said fellow trainer Jeaneane Colombero. “A 23-year-old female and ex- Marine lost 24 pounds in just two months! A 5-foot 8-inch, 260 lb. male power lifter was able to accomplish 34 pull ups, that he had never been able to attempt, through Renato’s coaching.”

Colombero explained that many individuals have expressed interest in losing weight they gained over the holiday season.

“They need to ask themselves if they really want to follow the same routine they have followed year after year,” said Colombero, adding that by working with Felippa, positive changes are possible.

“His results speak for themselves,” she said.

Colombero said Felippa describes his classes as “challenging for everyone, because they are constantly changing.” She said regardless of ones fitness level, positive change is possible.

“Whether someone is a high school athlete, weekend warrior, businessman, or busy mom; if they are looking for results, they should come see Renato.”

Felippa, who is studying to be a master trainer, has worked as assistant coach of the Fallbrook High School junior varsity soccer team and assisted with weight lifting classes.
