Sullivan Solar Power offers new incentive program

FALLBROOK – Daniel Sullivan, owner/founder of Sullivan Solar Power has announced that the new Sullivan Cash Reward program will offer Fallbrook and Bonsall residents $0.20 per watt up to $1,500 cash back for going solar.

“Residents can go solar for $0 upfront, save money every month on their electric bills, increase their property value – and get paid for doing so,” said Sullivan.

The firm has championed the Fallbrook Solar Program, a community initiative which paid Fallbrook and Bonsall homeowners to go solar. In the company’s previous cash back incentive program, over $200,000 was paid out collectively to residents in the community. Forty-three residents signed up to declare energy independence with the initiative, committing to collectively install over 290,000 watts of solar power. This marked the largest collective deployment of residential solar committed to being installed in San Diego County’s history.

Examples of the success of the program include Bonsall residents Steve and Denise Luckman whose electric bill averaged $700 per month previously. In 2010, the family installed a solar photovoltaic system from Sullivan Solar Power.

“I’m happy to share our system has operated above our expectations, and we have paid an annual grand total of $20.40 [on electricity] since installation,” said Denise Luckman.
