Norma Claire McCloskey

Norma Claire McCloskey, 79, resident of Fallbrook, Calif., passed away on Jan. 21, 2013, a mere three weeks after the death of her beloved husband of 57 years, Robert William McCloskey. She was born Jan. 30, 1933 in Revere, Mass. to Vera Elizabeth (Terminello) and Michael Joseph Williams. She attended El Segundo High School in El Segundo, Calif. and joined the United States Marine Corps wherein she attained the rank

of Corporal.

She went on to attend the Santa Monica City College of Cosmetology where in 1954 she met and fell in love with Robert McCloskey. She also worked as a United States Postal Service clerk for the Culver City Post Office.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Bobbi McCloskey of Fallbrook; sons, Michael McCloskey of Fallbrook, and Patrick McCloskey of Yucaipa, Calif.; granddaughter, Michelle McCloskey of Alpine, Calif.; grandson, Dan Beringhele of Chicago, Ill.; and brothers, Richard (Crissy) Williams of Murrieta, Calif. and Michael (Rose) Williams of Twenty-nine Palms, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William McCloskey; brother, Al Williams; and sister, Phyllis Aronson.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery with a reception to follow at MaGee’s located at 125 S. Main Ave., Fallbrook, Calif.
