Frazier wins Violet Richardson Award

FALLBROOK – Soroptimist International of Fallbrook annually recognizes young women between the ages of 14 and 17 who volunteer to make the world a better place through their volunteer efforts in their communities or schools. This year, Taylor Brooke Frazier received the Violet Richardson Award for her extensive volunteer services throughout Fallbrook.

A cash grant of $250 was awarded at a recent luncheon in her honor to the volunteer organization of her choice. Taylor chose the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary and presented the check to Janet LuCore, manager of the animal sanctuary, who spoke about the history of the animal sanctuary and its current status in the community. She stated she is very grateful to receive the donation on Taylor’s behalf and that Taylor is a very dedicated volunteer and appreciates her commitment to the shelter. Taylor’s mother and grandmother were present to see her receive the award.

Soroptimist International of Fallbrook is a volunteer service organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world. For more information about membership or attending a meeting, call Marnie Bacot at (760) 723-3627.
