Art association calls for entries for Plein Air Art Show

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Art Association (FAA) has issued its call for entries for its Plein Air Art Show. The show will be held at the Brandon Gallery at 105 Main Ave from March 8 through 29. This will be an open, juried show. The judge will be Jane Shuss who is a signature member of Plein Air Painters of America.

The take in day will be on March 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be an artist reception, open to the public, at the gallery on March 8 from 5 to 7 p.m.

FAA membership is not required for entry. All works must be dry and suitable for general viewing. Entry fees are $15 for the first piece and $5 for the second piece for FAA members and $20 for the first piece and $10 for the second piece for non-members. Awards include $100, $75 and $50 for first, second, and third place, and honorable mention ribbons.

This promises to be an excellent show, so everyone is encouraged to attend.
