Where were you?

On Feb. 5, your Assemblymember Marie Waldron set up a mobile office at the Fallbrook Public Utility District from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This was a courtesy to the residents who could voice any concerns over state issues. I got there at noon but the office had closed for lack of attendance.

Which of the following excuses prevented you from attending?

1. Didn’t know about it.

2. Timing was bad.

3. I could care less.

4. I’m very satisfied with state government.

5. Nobody listens to me anyway.

Government is a function of the people! If you don’t care, you will be governed by those who do! Also, your representative may be emboldened to promote his or her agenda rather than yours!

Are you feeling guilty? Maybe not. If you are, you can contact your district director Donna Thompson at (760) 480-7570.
