Retired teachers to host speakers

FALLBROOK – The California Retired Teachers Association, Fallbrook Avocado Division 81, will have two speakers at its brunch at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 10 at the Fallbrook Golf Club, 2757 Gird Road. The program will feature Genie Summers and Elizabeth Aragon.

Summers, a CalRTA Division 81 member, will speak about the various musical programs the Fallbrook Music Society provides to Fallbrook schools. Elizabeth Aragon from the Forget-Me-Not-Foundation will tell how the foundation uses flower arrangements donated from weddings and other social events to make smaller bouquets. These bouquets are then taken to retirement and nursing facilities to be enjoyed by the residents.

Retired teachers and persons interested in supporting education are invited to attend. Brunch costs $15. For reservations call (760) 728-1092.
