Allan Peter Shaw

Allan Peter Shaw, a Fallbrook resident, lost a valiant fight against pancreatic cancer on March 28, 2013 in Escondido, Calif. He was born Dec. 24, 1932 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada.

He was self-employed in the cooling tower industry, owning CTP Manufacturing Inc. in La Habra. He enjoyed camping, hockey, travelling and volunteering with the Fallbrook Hospital Auxiliary’s courier service.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marjorie M. Shaw; daughter Joanne (Ken) Smith, San Juan Capistrano; son Scott (Maryjean) Shaw, Vista; son Todd (Maria) Shaw, Yorba Linda; and daughter Tammy Lynn (Bruce) Hayton, Fallbrook; and nine grandchildren, Matthew, Luke, Magen, Clayton, Holly, Kendal, Hannah, Caleb and Alanis.

A memorial service will be held April 8 at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1620 S. Stage Coach Lane. Donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, http://www.pancan.org.
