Catherine Ann Dunagan

Catherine Ann Dunagan, 60, died in her home surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. She gave cancer a long, hard battle and is now able to rest.

Born July 5, 1952 at Balboa Hospital, San Diego, she grew up in Lakeside and Poway. Cathy moved back to Fallbrook in 2006 to be near her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Rob Dunagan of Fallbrook; daughter Deanna Bell (husband Carl), granddaughters Grace and Lily of Fallbrook; son Keith Herrmann (wife Maria), grandchildren Nathan, Melissa, and Amy of Temecula; step-daughter Christina Dunagan of Oceanside; brother Bob (Margaret) Johnston; sister Linda (John) Ensor; brother Thomas (Laura Stees) Johnston; brother Rick (Cheryl) Johnston; many nieces and nephews; and her first husband Kenneth Herrmann of Montana. Catherine was preceded in death by her loving parents W.W. and Irene Johnston of Poway.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1620 S. Stage Coach Ln., Fallbrook, CA 92028, (760) 728-3256. Friends and family are welcome to gather after the service at the church’s fellowship hall.

She was loved and will be missed.
