Hear about American history through music

FALLBROOK – As part of the free lecture series, Fallbrook Library is hosting a program by Ross Moore on “History through Music – Traditional and Contemporary Folk Songs,” on Thursday, May 2 at 6 p.m. Moore is an excellent musician, talented storyteller, and experienced educator. Originally from Kentucky, he now lives in San Diego and performs throughout Southern California.

In this presentation, Moore speaks about how American history is reflected in folk songs and also presents some musical tidbits with his guitar.

Moore has been organizing “The Acoustic Showcase” for the San Diego County Library for several years now, which is a community partnership that enriches lives through a live performance series in San Diego, highlighting world-class talent that is created and rooted in this community.
