E-waste can be taken to Fallbrook Waste & Recycling

FALLBROOK - Fallbrook Waste & Recycling Services has recently announced that Fallbrook residents may drop off recyclable items, including e-waste, during its normal hours of operation.

The Fallbrook facility is located at 550 West Aviation Rd, and open 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

A list of recyclable items has been included in Fallbrook Waste’s spring newsletter, included in residents’ April/May invoices.

With Fallbrook Waste & Recycling Services taking the lead in recycling efforts in town, it is no longer necessary for Keep Fallbrook Clean and Green (KFCG), a division of the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance, to hold its annual recycling event this fall.

Residents should note that, as in the past, most household hazardous waste (HHW) must still be taken to the County HHW facility in Ramona, or to a county-organized special hazardous waste collection events.

“KFCG wants to thank all of our wonderful partners and volunteers that have supported us in this annual event and look forward to working with them as new projects arise,” said organizers. “Anyone who would like to share any ideas on where KFCG may wish to focus volunteer clean up efforts in the future please submit them through the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance website at http://www.fallbrookbeautification.org.”
