Commander of NC Regional Gang Task Force to speak May 22

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Citizens’ Crime Prevention Committee will sponsor a free crime prevention meeting, Wednesday, May 22, in the Fallbrook Library community room, 124 S. Mission Rd., from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be Lt. Theresa Adams-Hydar, commander of the North County Regional Gang Task Force from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

Adams-Hydar will present “The evolution of gangs and the impact on our community,” which may change residents’ perception about the reality of gang life. She will speak on the newest trends in gang-related criminal activity, how the environment has changed, and how these changes affect citizens.
