Local girl earns position on national rodeo team

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook eighth grade student Brianna Leslie, who attends Julian Charter School, has earned a position on the California state/provincial National Jr. High rodeo team.

She will travel to Gallup, New Mexico with her fellow teammates to compete in the ninth annual National Jr. High Finals Rodeo (NJHFR) in the Girls Goat Tying competition June 23 through 29.

The competition will feature more than 1,000 contestants from 41 states, five Canadian provinces, and Australia. The NJHFR is the world’s largest junior high rodeo.
