Battle of the Badges comes to Pala Aug. 17

PALA – Pala Casino Spa & Resort and Cops 4 Kids & Communities will sponsor a Battle of the Badges charity boxing event at 6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 17, in the Pala Events Center to benefit at-risk and underprivileged youth in Southern California. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m.

Police officers and firefighters from a number of communities as well as California state correctional officers and members of public safety organizations will square off in the boxing ring to help raise money with this worthy endeavor.
