Photo preservation class to include stories from Marion Clemmens

FALLBROOK – The second session of the Photo Preservation Class/Story Time, sponsored by the Fallbrook Historical Society, will be held at the society’s ‘Barn,’ at 1730 Hill Street, (Rocky Crest Road and Hill Street) on Wednesday, June 19, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

The Photo Preservation Class will begin with a presentation from Cory Carrier, a computer instructor and photo archivist, who will share key techniques in how to preserve and archive irreplaceable photographs and vital documents.

The second half of the class will feature a Story Time – a personal narrative from a Fallbrook native who will tell unique and entertaining anecdotes about life in Fallbrook. The Story Time, which will feature Fallbrook native son Marion Clemmens, will be videotaped for future viewing.

“Clemmens has a repository of more local stories than any other living Fallbrookian,” organizers said.

Seating is limited, RSVP with name and phone number to the historical society at (760) 723-4125 or email the information to [email protected].
