Community help appreciated

An expression of gratitude goes to the Village News and the merchants of Fallbrook. Our l8th anniversary Annual Garden Tour was a smashing success. AAUW received an outpouring of support from the community.

The Village News provided us with the coverage needed to make the event a success. Several times we noted that they ran articles advertising the event as well as descriptions and pictures of the six magnificent gardens.

This event can only be successful if homeowners with a love for gardens volunteer their special gardens. Their gracious attitude welcomed hundreds of guests to tour their gardens and share their many tips for planting a garden of abundance.

A raffle helped raise money at Palomares House. The community business partners contributed to the success of raffle baskets and Major Market helped out by selling tickets to the event as well as hanging a sign promoting the event.

In additional to the help we received from Village News we also extend our thanks to the other area media sources and Road Runner Errands for helping us get out the word for this event.

The help we received from those mentioned helped us to increase the amount of money for scholarships. We are grateful.
