Film club to see "The Late Quartet"

OCEANSIDE – An all-star cast is featured in the upcoming film “The Late Quartet” which will be the North County Film Club’s second film of the summer season. The film stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Christopher Walken, and Catherine Keener as well as a newer face, Mark Ivanir.

The four are members of a world-famous ensemble based in Manhattan. Some devastating news interrupts the pace of their work when it’s discovered that Peter, the cellist, is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Personal issues that have long remained latent are exposed.
