Weston Fisher Maughan

Weston Fisher Maughan, born Nov. 13, 1922 at the Presidio in San Francisco, died at home July 27, 2013. He is survived by his wife Penny; his two children, Weston A. Maughan and Aileen Erard; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Weston was a graduate of West Point and Columbia University. He was a combat veteran (pilot) in WWII and retired from active duty at March AFB in 1963. Weston had a second successful career as a real estate broker in the Riverside area, where he lived for 48 years before moving to Fallbrook in 2008.

He was a long-standing member and past president of the University Kiwanis.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Aug. 6 at the LDS Church, 621 Stage Coach Lane, Fallbrook, CA 92028 at 11 a.m. Graveside dedication will be at Riverside National Cemetery at 2:01 p.m. the same day.
