FALLBROOK - A series of free scarecrow building workshops are being held at the Fallbrook School of the Arts throughout August and September in support of the second annual Fallbrook Scarecrow Days event. During the entire month of October, special events and scarecrows will be found throughout town.

Creating a scarecrow is easy and fun. Workshops will help individuals, merchants, teams, or clubs with some of the basic materials and “how to” instructions.

Free workshops take place from 9 a.m. to noon on these dates: August 28, 29, 30, and September 11, 12, 13, 25, 26, and 27 at the Fallbrook School of the Arts, 310 East Alvarado St.

To reserve a spot at a workshop, or for more information, contact Jackie Heyneman at (760)
