Hold'em or Fold'em Tournament to benefit seniors

FALLBROOK – Regency Fallbrook Assisted Living will host the second annual Fallbrook Hold’em or Fold’em tournament and fundraiser benefiting the Foundation for Senior Care on Friday, Sept. 20. Cost for tickets is $55 in advance; $60 at the door. Event registration begins at the ‘Regency Saloon’ located at 609 E. Elder Street, Fallbrook at 6:30 p.m., with shuffle and deal starting promptly at 7 pm.

Morgan Cadmus, executive director at Regency, and Dotty Metcalf, executive director of the Foundation for Senior Care, have joined forces once again to bring this exciting, fun evening of Texas Hold’em poker to the community.

“What a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come out for a great evening of poker and fun, and at the same time support a worthy cause,” said Metcalf. “We are excited about this event and grateful to the folks at Regency for hosting this terrific fundraiser for a second time this year on our behalf!”

Ticket includes $2,500 in chip value, gourmet appetizers prepared by Regency’s executive chef Steve Phillips, beer and wine. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older; dress for the event is cocktail attire. Top notch prizes will be awarded to the first through 20th place finishers. All proceeds benefit the Foundation for Senior Care and its four programs – the Care Van, Senior Care Advocacy, Senior/Adult Day Center, and the Senior Care Computer Learning Center.

The Foundation for Senior Care is located at 135 S. Mission Road, Fallbrook. Since 1979, the Foundation has served the health care needs of the local communities of Fallbrook, Rainbow, Bonsall and De Luz. The Foundation for Senior Care is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization privately funded through bequests, donations, grants, and fundraisers.
