Fall Festival of Gems Oct. 6

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Society (FGMS) is holding its annual Fall Festival of Gems on Sunday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 123 W. Alvarado St., between Main and Mission Ave. Admission and parking are free. The gem and mineral museum will be open as well. The event is great fun for the entire family. Come out and enjoy the day exploring, learning, and shopping.

Activities will include gold panning, gemstone identification, wheel of fortune, geode cracking, special exhibits, silent auctions, street fair, jewelry, gems, minerals and fossils, Kiwanis food booth, and a raffle for fabulous prizes.
