FALLBROOK – “I enjoyed being out at the game with my Grandpa and cheering on our Warriors,” said sixth grade student Amber Wood. “While the freshman float was going past us, I realized that I am going to be a freshman in a couple years, which is pretty cool.”
On Sept. 20, Fallbrook Union High School (FUHS) hosted Del Norte for its Homecoming football game. Although the Warriors lost in a narrow defeat, their hard work was celebrated by many, including students from William H. Frazier Elementary School.
“Bridging the gaps between the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) and FUHS is critical if we hope to inspire and motivate young student athletes to want to be a part of Fallbrook High School athletics,” said FUHS athletic director Patrick Walker. “Seeing our Warriors compete under the lights on a Friday night is a great way to do this.”
Teachers and parents of Frazier students try to instill the value of hard work and academic accomplishment in all students.
“We have a strong college-bound culture at William H. Frazier and recognize, for most of our students, Fallbrook High School is a stop on their path to college,” said Frazier principal Joe Knisely. “We are happy to strengthen our relationship, and everyone that attended the game had a great time.”
