Donations sought to 'Take A Bite Out of Hunger'

FALLBROOK – Ruth Kavanaugh of Coldwell Banker Village Properties invites local residents to donate non-perishable food items to help the Fallbrook Food Pantry during the holiday season.

Kavanaugh said donations can be brought to her office in River Village Bonsall at 5256 S. Mission Rd., Suite 310 (at the circle) or she is glad to drop off and pick up shopping bags at businesses for donations to the effort.

Donations will be packed up on Nov. 6 and delivered to the

food pantry.

Suggested items for donation include: rice, canned vegetables, cereal/rolled oats, pasta, pasta sauce, canned or dried beans, peanut butter or other nut butter, boxed macaroni and cheese, canned fruit, canned meat (tuna, chicken, salmon), canned soups, chili, and beef stew. Fruits in their own juice and low sodium items especially appreciated
