Fallbrook cribbage team loses match

FALLBROOK – The 36-player September cribbage match was easily won by the Oceanside Senior Center cribbage team. They had 68 wins to the Fallbrook team’s 58 wins. This broke the Fallbrook Senior Center team’s three game winning streak.

Leading the way for the Oceanside team was Bob Rebar who won all seven of his games with one skunk to take first. Right on his tail was Linda Blevins who won six out of seven games with three skunks. Rounding out the top five were Sharon Fly, DeForest Mayo and Bill McGinness.

The next match in the Senior Challenge Cribbage series is set for 12:15 p.m. Nov. 14 (note this is one week early due to Thanksgiving) at the Vista Elks Lodge, 1947 E. Vista Way. Lunch begins at 11 a.m. Call (760) 695-2977 or email [email protected].
