Anne Louise Woodson

Anne Louise Woodson, 76, of Pauma Valley, formerly of Fallbrook, died Jan. 1, 2014 in Escondido. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William, and daughter Nina; sons William and James; and eight grandchildren.

She graduated from College of Saint Teresa in Winona, Minn., where she was freshman class president, and a piano and teaching major who played a concert with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

She was a life-long U.S. citizen but also lived in Venezuela, Mexico, and Brazil. Here she lived in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and California. She taught grade school in Venezuela and married Dec. 28, 1960 after returning to the U.S.

She and Bill co-founded a full service general securities firm, Woodson Financial, and co-established and operated a full service tax practice, spanning more than three decades.

Memorial service is January 17, 11 a.m., Old Mission San Luis Rey Cemetery, 4050 Mission Rd., Oceanside.
