Motorhome catches on fire and crashes into two other vehicles in downtown Fallbrook

Firefighters with North County Fire work to put out a motorhome fire near the corner of South Main Ave. and West Aviation Road in Fallbrook about 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17.

A motorhome parked behind a local restaurant in downtown Fallbrook went up in flames today, causing the brakes to release on the vehicle, and roll into two nearby vehicles.

The incident, which happened around 2 p.m. (Fri., Jan. 17), took place near the corner of South Main Ave. and West Aviation Road, behind Trupiano's Italian Bistro restaurant, at 945 So. Main Ave.

"Everyone heard an explosion and then the motorhome was on fire," a bystander said. Fortunately, the owners of the motorhome got out of the vehicle safely.
