Love Life gala set for February 22

FALLBROOK - Love Life, the theme of the annual gala event held by Fallbrook Pregnancy Resource Center, is planned for Feb. 22. The occasion offers an exciting opportunity for Fallbrook people to meet and enjoy the humor and sparkle of Kirk Walden. He calls himself a “recovering procrastinator” as well as author of “The Wall” and founder of LifeTrends, which assists pro-life ministries around the United States and now the world.

Walden is a well-known former sportscaster, professional golfer, and director of a pregnancy resource center. His humor and fresh approach to the challenges of life make him outstanding speaker. He brings with him stories from his grand adventures as well as his everyday life as husband and Dad to five children, ages 3 to 23. He lives in a Nashville suburb, but travels extensively.

Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church conference center, 1405 E Fallbrook Street, near Stagecoach Ln. The evening will begin with a fine tri-tip dinner provided by the Knights of Columbus, including dessert provided by the culinary department of Mesa College.

Dr. Jeffrey Petersen will be the master of ceremonies for the event. All who attend will be encouraged and challenged as well as entertained by Walden’s energy and outlook on issues of life.

Tickets are free for this fundraiser, but reservations are required.

Tables are available for sponsorship or reservation. Contact Miriam Kirk at [email protected] or call (760) 451-9337.
