UPDATE: Sheriff's investigators say sexual assault victim has changed her story, it wasn't a stranger attack

A man that resembles the image in this sketch is sought in connection with a sexual assault committed in Fallbrook.

Sheriff's investigators have released a statement this morning, Tues., May 6 that the woman who reported she had been attacked and sexually assaulted on April 23 in the vicinity of Lake Shore Park (in the Lake Rancho Viejo housing development) in Fallbrook, has recounted her story and admitted it was not a stranger attack.

The woman, who said she was jogging with two-year-old child in a stroller, was attacked by an unknown male with a knife who had jumped out from behind bushes on the trail and assaulted her.
