Car Club donates to youth sports in April

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club recently made a donation to the Fallbrook Youth Baseball (FYB) program. The FYB organization receives no funding from the city, county or state agencies and depends solely on donations to help pay for the cost of leasing the baseball field and the associated utility and maintenance costs.

Youth baseball involves kids from ages 4 through 14 and the league presently has approximately 300 youngsters playing this season.

The car club also provided a donation to the Fallbrook High School wrestling team and the Relentless Wrestling Kids Club. The donation will go toward helping purchase team uniforms, equipment and pay for travel expenses to, and the cost of, wrestling tournaments.

Both the high school team and the Relentless Wrestling Kids Club (ages 5 through 14) are coached by Greg Wagaman and depend solely on donations to offset expenses. Because the teams have the opportunity to wrestle practically year round by wrestling in local private clubs during the off season, it becomes all the more important for these teams to receive donations.

The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club is a non-profit charitable

organization dedicated to supporting local youth, schools, military and seniors and is proud to be able to help support these sport groups. Visit http://www.fallbrookvintagecarclub.org for more information.
