Tech talks, tips, and tutorials for seniors offered by Foundation for Senior Care

FALLBROOK – The Foundation for Senior Care will sponsor a series of workshops at the Senior Care Computer Learning Center that will be taught by their volunteer computer techs. An open house and meet and greet will be held May 9 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at 135 South Mission Road, on the corner of Mission and Fig.

The workshops will differ each week and offer information on Gmail (password protection and customizing settings), Yahoo Mail (overview on Yahoo mail and sending attachments), Tablets or PC (browsing, email, books, video, camera, video conferencing), Tablet and Smart Phone-Android (button actions and settings), Tablet and Smart Phone-iPad (built-in Apps, downloading), Kindle (purchase and storage of Amazon books), Digital Photography, Transfer Photos from camera to computer, Photo Scanning (scan pictures into computer) and Photo Gallery.

After the initial meet and greet on May 9, weekly workshops will start, beginning on May 16 with the Gmail workshop. All workshops will begin at 9:30 a.m.
