**Tomahawk Fire now 100% contained - Naval Weapons Station reports after review 5,400 acres burned

(UPDATE: Sun., May 18, 7:45 p.m.)

Naval Weapons Station Fallbrook has reported that the Tomahawk Fire is now 100% contained. After review of the fire territory, it has been determined that the fire burned 5,400 acres, rather than the 5,500 reported earlier.

(UPDATE Sun., May 18, 3:45 p.m.)

It has just been reported that the Tomahawk Fire is now at 97% containment.

Officials on Naval Weapons Station Fallbrook said that as of 9 a.m. today, Sunday, May 18, fire personnel are reporting 93 percent containment of the Tomahawk Fire, with mop-up operations continu...
