MiraCosta College cancels classes at all classes for Friday; exams, events postponed

OCEANSIDE - Due to the current wildfires, evacuations, unpredictable wind direction, air quality, and potential power outages, all three MiraCosta College campuses will be closed, Friday, May 16 through the weekend. The college is planning to reopen on Monday, May 19.

Final examinations and events on all sites scheduled for Friday and Saturday are postponed.

The Latino Graduation Celebration scheduled for Friday, May 16 is postponed until further notice; the scholarship celebration planned for Friday, May 16 has been cancelled and scholarship recipients will receive a separate email from the college. Commencement, scheduled for May 20, will still be held as planned.
