Crash at Old Highway 395 and SR76 sends three to hospital

FALLBROOK - A crash today near the intersection of Old Highway 395 and State Route 76 today sent at least three people to a hospital.

A Toyota Corolla crashed on SR76 near Old Highway 395, west of Interstate 15, shortly before 5 a.m. today, Monday, May 26, according to the California Highway Patrol and fire officials.

One caller told the CHP that a second vehicle may have caused the crash.

Two ambulances and a helicopter took those injured in the crash to Palomar Medical Center, according to emergency responders. At least one of the car's occupants sustained major injuries, authorities said.
