Daughters of Norway to experience lefse making

FALLBROOK – The Daughters of Norway Hulda Garborg Lodge #49 will learn the art of lefse making at their meeting on March 11. Lefse is a traditional soft Norwegian flatbread made with potatoes, flour, butter, and milk. It is cooked on a large, flat griddle.

The meeting starts at 10 a.m. with the cultural program at 11 a.m. All women of Scandinavian heritage are welcome to attend the Daughters of Norway meetings held the second Saturday of each month at the Fallbrook Woman’s Club, 238 W. Mission Road, Fallbrook. Following the cultural program is a potluck lunch at noon.
