Divas go out to tea

Having a fun outing at Tea Lane are, from left, Young La Milton, Christel Lakata, Christie West and Ruth Haferkamp, who call themselves the Mah jong Divas. All Fallbrook residents, they get together every two weeks to play Mah Jong, taking turns hosting.

Tea sandwiches are a favorite menu item at Tea Lane, A Tea Room in Fallbrook, including cucumber and cream cheese on white bread, bottom of tray, and avocado slices on wheat toast, on top. The scones are served with a choice of jam and clotted cream.
