SAN DIEGO – Oasis Tutoring is seeking volunteers who can spend one hour a week at an elementary school with a kindergarten through fourth-grade child to build their reading and language skills, self-esteem and positive attitudes toward learning.

No teaching experience is needed; enthusiasm, patience and compassion are far more important. Oasis will provide volunteers with training, free books, teaching materials and ongoing support.
