Angel Society quarterly donations total $48,450

FALLBROOK – The Angel Society of Fallbrook is pleased to announce its quarterly Philanthropic Report for January, February and March of 2018.

Receiving $10,000 each were Fallbrook Senior Citizen’s Center and Boys and Girls Club of North County. Canine Companions and Fallbrook Music Society each received $5,000, while Rally for Children was given $4,000.

Other recipients of donations were The Friends of Fallbrook Community Center, $3,500, to help fund Science Kid Camps; Friends of Fallbrook Library, $3,000 to support upcoming children’s programs; Fallbrook Village Rotary Club Foundation $2,050, Operation Showers of Appreciation $1,500, and Fallbrook Youth Baseball $1,500.

Fallbrook Union High School will use its $500 to help fund the “Breaking Down the Walls” program, which facilitates increased unity among students in an effort to move toward a more positive and supportive culture.

Also receiving $500 each were: the Fallbrook High's girls’ tennis program (to purchase equipment and pay for travel expenses), William Frazier Elementary PTSA, MAAC Project Head Start Fallbrook, Fallbrook Baseball Booster Club (FUHS) and Fallbrook Blanket Project.

Foundation for Senior Care and Youth Soccer League were each given $200. This completes the quarterly donations totaling $48,450.

The Angel Society credits the community for their support and very generous donations. Its thrift shop is staffed and managed entirely by volunteer members. The shop is stocked totally with items donated by the community and all proceeds are then donated to community groups.
