A badly damaged motorcycle lies in the road while emergency personnel attend to the crash victim after he was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Mission Road and Fig Street at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22. North County Fire responded and transported the unidentified motorcyclist to an area hospital.
