Oatman president-elect of NSDCAR

Fallbrook resident Mark Oatman has been elected President Elect of the North San Diego County Association of Realtors (NSDCAR) for 2007 and will become President in 2008. NSDCAR provides services, education and a legislative voice to protect private property owners’ rights and housing for its 7,000 members.

Mark and his wife Jane moved to Fallbrook in 1996. Jane is a partner in the law firm of Faunce, Singer & Oatman. They have two children, Jacob, 7, who is a second grade student at Zion Lutheran School, and Emma, 1, who the couple recently adopted from Russia.

Mark is a Realtor with Prudential California Realty and has been active in the real estate market for seven years.

“There is a great selection of homes; interest rates continue to be on the low end relative to historical levels and sellers are more willing to negotiate,” Oatman said. “On top of this, North San Diego County is one of the premier places to live in the world.”

As President of NSDCAR Oatman will be involved on Realtor issues with the state and federal legislatures as they develop regulations which affect the industry. Mark said, “I am honored that our membership in North County has selected me to represent them and I am excited about the opportunity to have some influence on an industry which affects almost all elements of our economy.”
